Joshua Dances With Mothers of Late Friends

In a poignant Mother's Day celebration held recently, boxer Anthony Joshua was filmed dancing with the mothers of his two friends, Sina Ghami and Latif 'Latz' Ayodele. The two friends tragically died in a car accident in Nigeria in December of the previous year, an incident from which Joshua and the driver miraculously survived with minor injuries.

During the event, Joshua gave an emotional speech, expressing gratitude to the mothers and acknowledging the memory of his friends. He spoke of shared grief, the strength found in unity, and the acceptance of life's eventualities. He particularly thanked the mothers for the years they shared their sons with him and for their continued support.

This tribute comes after several difficult months for the former heavyweight champion. He had previously shared his grief on social media and even got a tattoo of his friends' names on his arm. The car accident occurred in Lagos while Joshua was on holiday after a fight in Miami on December 19. He has consistently expressed his deep sorrow over the loss, referring to his friends as brothers and pillars of his life.
