Summary
- Angels secured a walk-off victory against the Cardinals last night.
- Rookie Walbert Ureña will pitch for the Angels tonight.
- Matthew Liberatore is the starting pitcher for the Cardinals.
The Angels are poised to extend their winning streak to three games following a thrilling walk-off win against the Cardinals. Last night's victory was secured in the ninth inning, fueled by key plays that tied the game and then secured the win. Building on this momentum, the Angels will feature rookie pitcher Walbert Ureña on the mound.
Ureña, who has become a dependable player for the Angels, enters the game with a 2.88 ERA. He faces Cardinals' left-hander Matthew Liberatore, who has shown recent improvement despite a season record of 5-6. Liberatore has struggled in past starts against the Angels, and notable Angels hitters like Nolan Schanuel and Mike Trout have a history of success against him.
Predictions suggest a favorable matchup for the Angels, with their moneyline bet considered strong. Additionally, a bet on the total runs going under 9 is also favored, given the recent strong performances of both pitchers. Player props, such as Mike Trout achieving 3 or more hits, runs, or RBIs, are also highlighted as appealing bets for this game.
