Ange Postecoglou has officially begun a new coaching role with Saudi Pro League champions Al-Nassr, signing a two-year contract. This appointment marks a fresh start for the Australian manager following challenging periods in the Premier League.
His previous coaching experience includes a tenure at Tottenham, where he achieved Europa League success in 2025. However, his time at the club was cut short after they finished 17th in the Premier League. Prior to that, his spell at Nottingham Forest in the 2025-26 season was brief, ending after just 40 days without a win in his initial eight games.
Postecoglou will now manage Al-Nassr alongside Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. The club secured the Saudi Pro League title on the final day of the season last May under the guidance of former coach Jorge Jesus, who departed after the championship win. Postecoglou brings a decorated history, having won league titles with Celtic, Brisbane Roar, and Yokohama F Marinos.
