Summary
- Andy Reid's position in the annual head coach photo was questioned.
- Mahomes shows progress 100 days post-surgery, but favors knee.
- Raiders' Maxx Crosby trade to Ravens fell through due to knee concerns.
The placement of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid in the annual head-coach photograph has ignited discussion, with some questioning why he wasn't positioned prominently. Despite a challenging 6-11 season in 2025, the Chiefs are determined to rebound as hunters in the upcoming 2026 season.
Patrick Mahomes is showing signs of recovery, demonstrating a seven-step drop just 100 days after surgery. However, medical observations suggest he is still favoring his surgically repaired knee. Experts anticipate his full return for opening day, drawing parallels to his quick recovery from a dislocated kneecap.
In other news, a significant trade involving Las Vegas Raiders' Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens reportedly failed due to concerns over Crosby's knee. Doctors consulted by the Ravens identified issues, with one having previously operated on Mahomes. Crosby is expected to remain with the Raiders for 2026.
