Aluko reignites feud with Wright over pundit roles

Eni Aluko has reignited a public dispute with former footballer Ian Wright, asserting that he rejected her apology. The disagreement stems from Aluko's prior suggestion that Wright's extensive media presence might be hindering opportunities for female pundits in broadcasting.

Aluko revealed on Instagram that Wright did not accept her apologies, which she offered both publicly and privately. She described his response as disrespectful and stated that his actions have led to her facing criticism.

She further elaborated that she has not secured any punditry jobs alongside Wright since their public fallout. Aluko contended that men are increasingly occupying premium broadcasting roles within women's football, which she believes should be prioritized for women.
