Former LSU gymnast Aleah Finnegan is set to compete in the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, taking place from December 9 to December 20, 2025. She recently celebrated a significant reunion with her former LSU assistant coach, Garret Griffith, while in training. Finnegan capped off her collegiate career by winning the 2024 NCAA Floor Title and subsequently graduating from Louisiana State University.
Following her collegiate achievements, Finnegan has relocated to the Philippines with the aim of representing her home country on the international stage. She shared moments of her training sessions at the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines' facility, expressing her excitement for the SEA Games, which she describes as one of her favorite competitions.
Finnegan's future plans include returning to the US for the holidays after the games. While she is taking her professional gymnastics career one meet at a time, her participation in the SEA Games marks a significant new chapter after a decorated NCAA career, which also included being an SEC Champion and NCAA Regional Champion.
