Freshman Ambrey Taylor delivered the game-ending hit, a 2-RBI double in the fifth inning, which secured the run-rule win for Alabama. This decisive hit came after Lauren Johnson's 2-RBI double in the second inning opened the scoring for the Crimson Tide.
