The University of Alabama is closely monitoring severe weather and high winds expected prior to Saturday's game against Georgia. No tailgate drop-offs or setups will be allowed on campus Friday, and corporate vendors will not set up on the Quad.
Outdoor activities on campus will not be permitted before noon on Saturday, and fans may access gathering areas only if weather conditions allow. Pre-game events like the Elephant Stop and Champions Lane activities are canceled. The public announcement for the conclusion of the Rising Tide 2.0 capital campaign, scheduled for Friday evening, has also been canceled.
The Walk of Champions will occur approximately two hours before kickoff. Campus parking lots and shuttle services will not open until noon. ESPN College GameDay has been moved inside Coleman Coliseum, with doors opening at 5:30 a.m.; overnight queuing is prohibited. UA continues to assess weather conditions and may implement further schedule modifications.
