Summary
- Khalifa Keith committed to Alabama after transferring from Appalachian State.
- He previously played for the Tennessee Volunteers for two seasons.
- Keith will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Crimson Tide.

Khalifa Keith, a transfer running back, has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Keith previously played for Appalachian State and began his college career at Tennessee.
During his time at Appalachian State, Keith appeared in six games, recording minimal rushing yards. Before that, he spent two seasons with the Tennessee Volunteers, accumulating over 100 rushing yards and a touchdown across four games in 2024.
With two years of eligibility remaining, Keith's addition aims to bolster Alabama's running game, which struggled in the 2025 season, averaging just over 104 rushing yards per game. This move comes after another transfer commitment, Hollywood Smothers, initially committed but later flipped to Texas. Alabama also secured a highly-rated freshman running back, Ezavier Crowell, for the 2026 class.
