Alabama Football Reloads for 2026 Season

As Alabama's 2026 season approaches, the team is undergoing significant adjustments across its roster. Head coach Kalen DeBoer anticipates a step forward following their appearance in the SEC Championship Game and a College Football Playoff victory. Ryan Coleman-Williams, now a junior, is Alabama's most experienced offensive player and seeks a fresh start after a sophomore season marked by a high drop rate. He will have a new quarterback, as Austin Mack and Keelon Russell compete to replace Ty Simpson.

The Crimson Tide's offensive line and running game are central to the team's strategy for 2026. Following a below-average rushing performance in 2025, the offensive line has been reinforced with portal transfers to support new talents like five-star recruit Michael Carroll. The backfield will feature Daniel Hill and five-star freshman EJ Crowell, aiming to boost the rushing attack.

On defense, outside linebacker Yhonzae Pierre and cornerback Zabien Brown are identified as potential first-round picks for the 2027 NFL Draft.
