14 Aug
Summary
- Ayman Fallatah joins Al-Faisaly on loan until season's end.
- Fallatah is the fifth Al-Ahli player loaned out this summer.
- Riyad Mahrez and Franck Kessié also departed Al-Ahli.

As the 2026-2027 football season begins, Al-Ahli has continued its strategy of loaning out emerging talent to other Saudi Pro League clubs. The Jeddah-based team announced on Friday that Ayman Fallatah will play for Al-Faisaly, a team newly promoted to the Roshn League, for the remainder of the season.
Fallatah is not the only Al-Ahli player heading to Al-Faisaly, as midfielder Eid Al-Mawlid has also been loaned to the same club for the season. Fallatah's move makes him the fifth player to depart Al-Ahli on loan this summer. Previously, Abdulelah Al-Khaibari moved to Al-Fateh, while Yassine Zabaidi and Yazan Madani joined Al-Khaleej.
In total, Al-Ahli has seen seven players depart during the current summer transfer window. This includes the five loaned players, alongside significant departures of Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez and Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié. The club also parted ways with German coach Matthias Jaissle. Despite these departures, Al-Ahli secured a 1-0 victory in their Saudi Pro League opener against Al-Diriyah, with a goal from new arrival Eduard Spertsyan.
