Ajax's Conference League Squad: Mokio's B-List Status Shocks

4 Sep

Summary

Jorthy Mokio is not on Ajax's Conference League A-list, but a B-list player.
Players must be registered with the club for two years to be placed on the B list.
Ajax can add Mokio to the B list before their October 15th Conference League opener.

Ajax's Conference League squad list has revealed a significant detail: Jorthy Mokio is now classified as a B-list player, not on the initial A list. This move impacts his immediate availability for the league phase.

To be placed on the B list, players typically need to be born after 2005 and have been registered with the club for a minimum of two years. Mokio, born in early 2008, only recently met the two-year tenure requirement with Ajax this summer, enabling this potential shift.

Ajax retains the option to formally add Mokio to the B list. The deadline for this submission is one day prior to their opening Conference League match against Hajduk Split on October 15th. The club has until this date to finalize their squad for the competition.
