This impressive performance marks Tomar's seventh ISSF World Cup medal, underscoring his consistent success in the sport. The competition also saw other Indian athletes in action, with Manu Bhaker narrowly missing out on a spot in the 25m pistol final by a countback of inner-10s.
Esha Singh, another Indian competitor, qualified in fourth place and will contend for a medal in the 25m pistol event. Sift Kaur Samra concluded her event in the 50m rifle 3 positions after competitors from Qatar withdrew.
