Abdullah Mason, boxing's youngest male world champion, is set to defend his WBO lightweight title in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Mason, holding a perfect 20-0 record with 17 knockouts, captured the championship in November and will face the undefeated Albert Bell in his first defense. Bell (28-0, 9 KOs) was a late replacement for Joe Cordina, who withdrew due to visa issues, and steps in while already in training camp.
The event, taking place at the Wolstein Center, also includes Bruce 'Shu Shu' Carrington making the first defense of his WBC featherweight title against Rene Palacios. The main card begins at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT and DAZN, with ring walks for the main event expected around 11 p.m. ET.
