Champion Abby Dow Pivots from Rugby to Engineering

England Red Roses winger Abby Dow has officially retired from professional rugby at the age of 28, opting to pursue her passion for engineering. Over her distinguished career, Dow achieved remarkable success, scoring 50 tries in 59 Test matches. Her trophy cabinet includes seven Women's Six Nations titles and a prestigious World Cup crown.

Dow's decision marks a significant career shift, moving from the rugby pitch to the world of engineering. She holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed Imperial College London, which she attained while competing at the elite level of the sport. Her final Test match was against Canada in the World Cup final in front of a record crowd.
