Aaron Donald has announced his return to the NFL at age 35, un-retiring to rejoin the Los Angeles Rams. His decision, made two years after his initial retirement, delays his Pro Football Hall of Fame eligibility until at least 2031. Donald's return strengthens the Rams, making them a top contender for the upcoming Super Bowl.

His comeback pairs him with newly acquired defensive end Myles Garrett, forming what could be the most formidable pass-rushing duo in NFL history. Donald, a three-time defensive player of the year, is known for his intense fitness regimen and has consistently posted workout clips. Coach Sean McVay hinted at the possibility of Donald's return throughout training camp.

The Rams' defense has been significantly remade, with the additions of cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. The team also traded for Garrett, bolstering their defensive front alongside Donald and other key players like Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske.

Donald seeks a second Super Bowl title, having previously clinched one in Super Bowl LVI.
