The San Francisco 49ers are now one of the NFL's three remaining undefeated teams after securing a 32-29 win against the Seattle Seahawks. This victory brought their season record to an impressive 5-0.
Adding to the team's challenges, key player Deebo Samuel sustained a hamstring injury and is projected to miss multiple weeks. This update comes as the team prepares for their next matchup.
Despite these setbacks, there is optimism surrounding pass rusher Nick Bosa, who has been out with a calf injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that Bosa has a "chance" to play in the upcoming Monday night game against the Washington Commanders, providing a potential boost to the defense.
In addition to Bosa, fullback Kyle Juszczyk and defensive lineman James Thompson Jr. are also being evaluated and could potentially return to play. Shanahan indicated that their availability will be determined throughout the week.
