International betting brand 1xBet has announced a sponsorship agreement with the Barbados Tridents, a prominent team in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). This partnership will see 1xBet as an official partner for the 2026 CPL season, which is scheduled to run from August 7 to September 20, 2026.

The CPL is recognized as one of the world's premier cricket competitions, second only to the Indian Premier League. It has achieved significant viewership milestones, with its audience exceeding one billion across digital and broadcast platforms for two consecutive years, reaching 1.17 billion in 2025.

The Barbados Tridents, who have won the CPL twice in 2014 and 2019 and were runners-up in 2015 and 2022, expressed optimism about the new sponsorship. The team aims to improve their performance and clinch their third championship title in the upcoming season.

As part of the agreement, 1xBet's branding will be featured on the team's kit, stadium advertising, and promotional materials. This move aligns with 1xBet's global mission to support and promote sports development worldwide. The team's roster includes notable players such as captain Rovman Powell and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock.
