Zomato CEO Touts Inversion Therapy to Reverse Brain Aging
18 Nov
Summary
- Zomato CEO claims inversion poses can increase brain blood flow by 7%
- Experimental device worn by CEO measures brain flow in real-time
- CEO denies using "Gravity Aging Hypothesis" to sell new wearable device

In a recent announcement, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, 42, has made a bold claim about a potential solution to brain aging. According to Goyal, scientific research has shown a strong correlation between brain blood flow and age, with declining flow being an important biomarker for aging.
To address this issue, Goyal proposes the use of inversion poses, or upside-down positions, as a way to increase blood flow to the brain. He states that six weeks of using inversion tables for over 10 minutes per day led to a 7% increase in daily average brain flow, potentially nullifying 10 years of age-related brain flow loss.
Interestingly, Goyal was recently spotted wearing a small device above his right eyebrow, which he has now confirmed measures brain flow in real-time. He has been using this experimental device for the past year as part of his research on the "Gravity Aging Hypothesis."
While some have speculated that Goyal's inversion therapy idea is a ploy to sell this new brain flow-measuring wearable, the CEO has firmly denied these accusations. He clarifies that the device, tentatively named "Temple," is a small, independent project and not the main focus of his work. Goyal maintains that brain flow is an important biomarker for aging and cognition, regardless of the validity of the Gravity Aging Hypothesis.
