The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket, equipped with the Progress MS-33 cargo spacecraft, has been positioned on Launch Pad 31 at the Baikonur Spaceport. This preparation marks a significant step towards resupplying the International Space Station (ISS).
The scheduled launch for March 22 will send approximately 2.5 tons of cargo into orbit. This vital delivery includes 828 kg of propellant to refuel the station, 420 kg of drinking water, and 619 kg of food rations for the crew.
Further aiding the mission, the Progress MS-33 will also carry 52 kg of specialized equipment for ongoing scientific experiments. Additionally, 12 kg of medical supplies, including load suits designed to counteract the effects of weightlessness, will be delivered to support astronaut health and research.
