In the renowned French pilgrimage town of Lourdes, a remarkable position exists: that of a scientific investigator of Catholic miracles. Dr. Giana Monami, through her 'Bureau de Constatation,' applies scientific analysis to verify claims of instantaneous and inexplicable healings.
To date, 72 such physical miracles have been officially confirmed. However, Dr. Monami's work also acknowledges the broader spiritual impact of Lourdes. Many visitors experience profound inner healing, finding faith, overcoming addictions, and receiving solace.
Lourdes is also celebrated for the exceptional solidarity shown by thousands of volunteers. These primarily young individuals dedicate themselves to assisting the numerous sick and disabled pilgrims, transforming suffering into hope and pain into joy.
