Baikonur Launchpad Damage Repaired After Soyuz Liftoff

Work is progressing rapidly to restore the damaged maintenance cabin and launch facility at Baikonur Cosmodrome's Site 31. The platform was affected during the November 27 liftoff of a Soyuz-2.1a rocket. All necessary spare parts for the maintenance cabin have now arrived at the spaceport.
Approximately 130 employees from Roscosmos enterprises are involved in the ongoing restoration. They are currently priming the maintenance cabin and applying protective top coats. The damage was detected during a routine post-launch inspection, a standard procedure in international space operations.
Roscosmos has confirmed that all required spare parts are available to complete the repairs in the near future. The Soyuz-2.1a rocket successfully carried the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft and its crew to the International Space Station.
