His parents, Molly and James Thorner, have transformed their home into a dinosaur-themed Christmas light display to support the Grand Appeal, the hospital's chosen charity. The display aims to raise vital funds and bring joy to families who have to spend significant time in hospitals. Rory, despite facing numerous life-threatening seizures and requiring medical support, maintains a positive spirit.
The Christmas Dubs' visit is part of the Grand Appeal's Shine Bright fundraising campaign. The group's upcoming 'Christmas Cruz' events will see more than 100 vans traveling in convoy. Funds raised will support the Grand Appeal's patient hotel, offering families a place to stay with their children during rehabilitation.
