A rare albino buffalo has achieved internet stardom in Bangladesh, drawing crowds due to its striking resemblance to former US President Donald Trump's iconic hairstyle. The animal, located in Paikpara, Narayanganj, sports a distinctive golden tuft of hair, leading to its viral fame and nickname.
Acquired by its owner, Ziauddin Mridha, about ten months prior from a cattle market in Rajshahi, the buffalo is described as calm and peaceful. Videos of the nearly 700-kilogram creature have circulated widely on social media platforms like Facebook, prompting visitors to seek it out.
This albino buffalo is not the first creature to be compared to Donald Trump. In 2017, a moth was named Neopalpa donaldtrumpi, and a fossil sea urchin, Tetragramma donaldtrumpi, was discovered. Additionally, a Panama amphibian was proposed for the name Dermophis donaldtrumpi, and a Peruvian caterpillar known as the Trumpapillar also gained online notoriety for its hair-like fuzz.
