Four vintage tractors have completed an ambitious coast-to-coast challenge, successfully raising more than £3,000 for Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity. The 'Dexta's On the Run' team embarked on the three-day journey from Flamborough to Blackpool and back, averaging speeds of 16-20mph.
This endeavor, which started as a father and sons' project, has now expanded to include two retirees and two additional tractors. The vehicles, all manufactured in the 1960s, were originally used on smaller farms for tasks like fieldwork and animal support.
Enthusiastic crowds cheered the tractors along their nearly 300-mile route, with the team's support car driver noting the positive reception. Donations are still being accepted via their JustGiving page to further support the charity.
