As Ayodhya prepares to sparkle with 26 lakh diyas this Deepotsav, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has announced a special one-day guided tour for devotees and travelers from Lucknow to Ayodhya. The exclusive package promises an exhilarating journey to witness the festival's divine grandeur on October 19th.
Following the success of guided tours to Ayodhya and Naimisharanya, UPSTDC has curated this special trip. The bus departs from Hotel Gomti, Lucknow, at 11 am and returns the same night. Travelers will get front-row access to Deepotsav highlights, including the lighting of 26 lakh diyas, a drone show, Maha aarti, laser projections, and eco-friendly fireworks at Ram Ki Paidi. Local guides will narrate tales of Lord Ram throughout the tour.
Tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh stated that "Deepotsav is not just a celebration, it's an emotion that unites people through faith and light." The special secretary (tourism), Eesha Priya, added that earlier tours received strong participation from families and senior citizens, making this exclusive package an attractive option for all.
