A 30-year-old woman from Rajasthan, Himani Mittal, has gone viral on Instagram for her unique career and life path. She has never pursued a conventional 9-to-5 job and has navigated six different career changes. Mittal emphasized the importance of financial independence early in life, which propelled her to start teaching Spanish at age 21. She transitioned her work online during the Covid-19 pandemic, enabling continued earning and exploration.
At 25, Mittal relocated to Spain after completing her master's in filmmaking, teaching English and traveling throughout Europe. These experiences broadened her perspective, revealing that life timelines for careers and personal goals are not fixed. Returning to India two years ago, she chose to prioritize personal growth and solo travel over societal expectations, including marriage.
Mittal, who now resides in Kerala, creates content focused on solo travel and choosing one's own life direction. She actively encourages her followers to resist comparison and make authentic choices. Her current Instagram series, the "SF Challenge," aims to support individuals in their thirties facing societal pressures regarding career and life milestones, inspiring them to embrace new beginnings.
