Notably, Wilsons holds both a Michelin star and a coveted Green star, distinguishing it among a select few UK restaurants.
The guide, compiled using thousands of reader votes and expert critic insights, ranks top dining establishments across the UK, with the exclusion of London. Wilsons, opened in 2016 by partners Jan Ostle and Mary Wilson, features a market garden supplying its kitchen with fresh produce. Chef and co-founder Jan Ostle expressed honour at the recognition, attributing it to the team's dedication and community support.
Manchester's Skof secured the second position in the ranking, described as "nothing short of outstanding."
