The most favored UK destinations include the coast, chosen by 62% of respondents, followed by the countryside at 31% and town breaks at 24%. The stunning Lake District has been identified as the premier staycation spot.
Other popular locations making the top ten list are Brighton, Bournemouth, Southend, Scarborough, St Ives, Blackpool, Newquay, Whitby, and the Scottish Highlands. Significantly, 90% of Britons expressed a desire to discover more of the UK this year.
