A South Los Angeles couple, Nyla Craft and Marco Bernal, joyfully welcomed triplets on August 18, the same day as their father's birthday. The newborns, named Elio, Elias, and Enzo, include two identical twins.
The triplets' combined birth weight reached an impressive 19.3 pounds, falling just short of a world record. Each baby weighed over six pounds at birth, and all three were reportedly crying at once upon their arrival.
This new addition brings the total number of children in the family to five, all under the age of five. Doctors from Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, including chief of neonatology Dr. Rohit Passi, visited the family at home, expressing their happiness and support for the growing household.
