NFL tight end Travis Kelce has reportedly acquired a historic lakefront estate, known as "Moyenage," located outside Cleveland in Bratenahl, Ohio. The property, listed for $5.35 million, spans 3.5 acres and dates back to 1895. The sprawling residence includes eight bedrooms and 21,140 square feet, featuring notable original elements like a carved walnut staircase and leaded glass.
A yearlong restoration preserved the estate's antique features while integrating modern amenities. The mansion's history includes a ballroom that served as a Prohibition-era speakeasy and a filming location for the 1960s TV show "Route 66." This transaction set a new record for the Bratenahl shoreline, with the previous owner having purchased and restored the estate for $1.95 million in 2023.
The renovated property also boasts a converted gatehouse serving as a guest cottage and a ballroom transformed into a game room and home theater. The sale, which attracted multiple offers, was handled by agents from The Agency Cleveland Northcoast.
