Three Indian cities have been recognized among the world's best for their vibrant street food scenes in a new 2026 ranking by Time Out. Jaipur ranked 15th, highlighting the traditional snacks of Rajasthan like kachori and samosas. New Delhi placed 19th, with its diverse offerings ranging from chaat to parathas in areas like Chandni Chowk.
Internationally, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam was crowned the top city for street food. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta, Indonesia, followed in second and third places respectively. Other notable cities making the top ranks include Taipei, Mexico City, Manila, Hanoi, Johannesburg, and Bangkok, underscoring a global appreciation for delicious and accessible street eats.
