A key session, themed 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing,' was conducted for officers in Tiruchi under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, Balak Ram Negi. Simultaneously, yoga practices for staff and their families took place at the Rail Mahal and Anglo-Indian School, led by experts from the Art of Living Foundation.
These one-hour sessions included specialized 'asanas' and 'pranayama' techniques designed to address the unique physical and mental challenges of railway work. Similar events extended to 13 other locations across the Division, including Vriddhachalam and Villupuram, ensuring broad participation.
In total, more than 1,000 railway staff members and their families engaged in these yoga programs. The Division's objective is to foster the holistic well-being of its employees, which is expected to translate into enhanced service delivery for passengers.
