An 85-year-old movie theater employee in Tennessee was gifted more than $146,000 after a video capturing her dedication went viral online. Mary Ellen Eron, who has worked at an AMC theater in Maryville for 45 years, was seen lifting heavy trash bags and pushing a cleaning cart.

Eron was surprised to learn she had gone viral and was overwhelmed by the generosity. While she loves her job and reportedly refuses to retire, the substantial donations ensure she can now choose to enjoy the retirement she truly deserves.
Beyond her job, Eron also dedicates her free time to assisting a mother and her children, as well as individuals experiencing homelessness. She expressed profound gratitude for the kindhearted gesture and the overwhelming support from donors.
