A 15-year-old student with a passion for the Mod scene received a memorable entrance to his school prom. Over 100 scooters joined Travis in a convoy from his home to the event at York Racecourse. The special ride-out was organized by his mother, Charlotte, following Travis's autism diagnosis in February.
Travis, who is currently studying at Manor CE Academy, expressed his enjoyment of the "impressive gathering." His passion for the Mod culture, including scooters and 1960s music, is evident in his personal interests. He has recently built his own scooter and is pursuing a motor mechanic program.
The event saw participation from Supergood Bikers for Autism, a group offering support through ride-outs across Yorkshire for neurodivergent individuals. The founder was pleased to help Travis make a grand entrance, hoping it would be an unforgettable experience for the young student.
