Mom's Court Battle: Supervised Visits Easing Up
2 Jun
Summary
- Mother's Day visit was cut short due to supervisor availability.
- A judge recommended lifting supervised visits for the mother.
- The mother will now have her son on alternative weekends.

New details emerged regarding Taylor Frankie Paul's Mother's Day celebration, revealing her supervised visit with her 2-year-old son Ever was cut short. Paul's attorney explained to a judge that limited supervisor availability on that holiday, and on other recent occasions, led to shortened or canceled visits. One prior visit was impacted by the child's illness with a cold sore breakout.
In a virtual court hearing on Monday, June 1, a Utah judge awarded Paul "parent time" on May 10 amid ongoing custody battles and mutual protective orders. Instead of her usual eight-hour visitation, Paul's time was scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Despite these challenges, the judge recommended lifting the supervised visitations.
Paul is now granted "parent time" on alternative weekends and one midweek day per week, though overnight visits remain prohibited. The custodial parent, Mortensen, will retain holiday custody. Another hearing is scheduled for July 8, with the judge urging both parents to avoid online disparagement and continue therapy.
