- Happy Doggo aims to end the street dog crisis through rescue and care.
A recent rescue effort by Niall Harbison, founder of Happy Doggo, brought joy to a street dog family in need. Harbison and his team encountered a mother dog exhausted from caring for her litter of puppies and immediately provided them with a comprehensive shopping order of food and cozy items.
The family of dogs gratefully accepted the surprises, with the mother dog appearing content as her puppies snuggled together. This intervention is part of Happy Doggo's ongoing mission to address the street dog crisis. Future plans include neutering and spaying the entire family to prevent further unwanted litters and ensure healthier lives.
Launched in 2021, Happy Doggo is dedicated to sterilizing thousands of street dogs and recently expanded its services with a medical clinic and a retirement village for senior dogs. Donations and support can be made through their website and social media platforms.
