Stevie Wonder's former six-bedroom family mansion in Calabasas, California, was listed for sale in March 2025 for $15 million. The singer originally purchased the nearly three-acre property in 2000 for $2.85 million. His ex-wife, Kai Milla-Morris, undertook extensive renovations during the pandemic, investing at least $3 million.
The 11,120-square-foot modern Mediterranean-style home, built in the 1990s, boasts a swimming pool, a formal dining room, and a dedicated music area. Milla-Morris explained that the house held significant family memories and was a place for gatherings and celebrations.
During their marriage, music was a daily presence, with Wonder practicing and their children learning instruments. The home also served as a creative space for Milla-Morris's work as a clothing designer. After their divorce in 2012, Milla-Morris continued to live in the house with their sons.
More recently, Milla-Morris completed significant upgrades, including remodelling the primary suite with a double-sided fireplace and renovating the kitchen with a large marble island. These updates enhanced the home's interiors while respecting its original architecture.
Milla-Morris decided to sell the large estate now that her two sons, Kailand and Mandla Morris, are grown. The property was listed by agents from The Beverly Hills Estates.
