On a Tuesday in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a man dressed as Spider-Man emerged as an unexpected hero. Christopher Hellenthal, while still in costume from a work event, noticed a person in a wheelchair struggling to cross six lanes of traffic.
Swiftly reacting, Hellenthal raced from his Jeep and, with a reassuring "I got you," helped the individual safely across the road just moments before the traffic light changed. The entire event was documented by a security camera, with local police later sharing the footage online to commend Hellenthal's actions.
Hellenthal, 20, described feeling a rush of adrenaline and acknowledged the humor of intervening in costume. He quickly returned to his vehicle to avoid blocking traffic as the light turned green.
