Singer Paris's Neck Mystery Solved
18 May
Summary
- An ultrasound revealed minor redness on vocal cords, not calluses.
- The singer attributed her neck's appearance to exercising muscles.
- She also discussed past struggles with depression and OCD.

Singer Paris recently underwent an ultrasound on her neck to address fan concerns raised on social media about her appearance. She explained that her neck's unique look during speech is likely due to muscle exertion from singing, a phenomenon more prominent in her slender frame. Initial blood work had shown normal results.
Further examination revealed the slightest redness on her vocal cords, though no calluses were present. Paris reassured fans that this is a normal consequence for singers and that her voice is expected to remain healthy for her upcoming performance at BottleRock Napa Valley. She also shared candidly about her sobriety journey, noting that life after initial sobriety became very difficult.
Paris also opened up about her struggles with treatment-resistant major depressive disorder, CPSTD, and OCD. Previously, in November 2025, she disclosed having a perforated septum from past drug use, resulting in a noticeable whistle when breathing through her nose and advising against drug use.
