TV Presenter's Daughter Hospitalized in Health Scare

TV presenter Sian Welby shared on Wednesday that her 21-month-old daughter, Ruby, was taken to the hospital late Tuesday evening due to a concerning health issue. The infant experienced febrile convulsions, a condition often brought on by a high fever from minor infections, which caused extreme shivering and jerky movements.

Welby stated that this was not the first time Ruby had experienced such convulsions, prompting their immediate visit to A&E for a thorough check-up. Thankfully, Ruby has since returned home and is reportedly doing well, with Welby thanking the medical staff at St. George's Hospital for their care and acknowledging the invaluable service of the NHS.
