As of October 2025, the calendar's 2026 edition is set to continue this legacy, combining striking photography with a clear charitable mission.
The calendar offers a variety of options, from kittens and dogs to horses and even koalas. Regardless of one's preferred firefighter-animal pairing, there is something for everyone. The proceeds from the 2026 calendar will benefit a range of organizations, including the Pasadena Humane Society, Kerr County Relief Fund, Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, and the Kids With Cancer Foundation.
Earlier this year, when wildfires devastated parts of Los Angeles, the Australian firefighters quickly responded by producing a special charity calendar to support the Pasadena Humane Society, which had taken in and treated over 800 pets displaced by the fires. The Aussie firefighters have become familiar faces at the annual CatCon event in Pasadena, further strengthening their connection to the community.
"It was heartbreaking to watch the parts of Los Angeles we visit each year devastated by these fires," says David Rogers, director of the Australian Firefighters Calendar. "I stayed in constant contact with our friends there, and the firefighters featured in our calendars decided to produce a charity edition to raise funds and show solidarity with our US friends."
The 2026 calendar promises to continue the Australian Firefighters Calendar's legacy of using their chiseled physiques and charming personalities to make a real difference in the lives of animals and people in need.
