Sally Goldner, previously an accountant, has realized her childhood dream by entering the professional wrestling world as Zali Gold. On her 60th birthday, she performed a missile dropkick during an Alpha Pro battle royal, experiencing an exhilarating moment in the ring.
Goldner's fascination with wrestling began in childhood, watching matches in Melbourne. After a fulfilling but uninspiring career in accountancy, she began to explore her identity. At 29, she learned about being transgender and later founded Transgender Victoria in her mid-30s to support the trans community.
Seeking a creative outlet after leaving Transgender Victoria in 2019, Goldner trained at Melbourne's Relentless School of Pro Wrestling in 2023. She made her in-ring debut six months ago as Zali Gold, participating in mixed wrestling events. She regularly works as a ring announcer and commentator and is developing her wrestling moves for future singles or tag matches.
