Saif Ali Khan Leases Prime Mumbai Commercial Space

Saif Ali Khan has leased out two commercial units located on Andheri Kurla Road in Mumbai, securing a monthly rent of Rs 22.76 lakh. The five-year lease agreement, which includes a substantial security deposit of Rs 2.36 crore, is set to begin on May 10, 2026, and conclude on May 9, 2031. The leased area spans 5,692 sq ft of RERA carpet area within the Kanakia Wall Street building in Chakala, Andheri East.

The lease has been finalized with Durva Fintech Private Limited. Notably, the actor had acquired these two units in November 2025 for a combined total of Rs 30.75 crore. The agreement also provides a two-month rent-free period for the tenant to complete necessary fit-out work.

Rent payments are scheduled to commence from July 10, 2026, with an annual increase of 5%. Over the 60-month term, the total rent payable is projected to exceed Rs 14 crore, excluding GST. This deal highlights significant commercial real estate activity in the area, with other notable transactions including a lease by Starlink Satellite Communications.
