Rugby Royalty Mike and Zara Tindall Implement Strict Lifestyle Changes

As of November 13th, 2025, former England rugby star Mike Tindall and his wife Zara Tindall have implemented a major lifestyle overhaul in their commitment to staying healthy. The couple has established strict guidelines around their alcohol consumption, revealing that they only drink when they are entertaining guests and never at home.

Tindall, now 47 years old, explained that maintaining peak physical condition was the driving force behind their decision to alter their drinking habits. He shared his goal of keeping up with his children in sprint races for as long as possible, acknowledging that he was not the quickest player even during his rugby days.

Meanwhile, Tindall's former teammate James Haskell, who is now pursuing a career as a DJ, admitted that he often wakes up feeling the effects of his numerous sporting injuries. Haskell, who is around the same age as Tindall, confessed that he feels like he is 21 in his head but his body feels much older, around 60 years old.

Earlier this year, Zara Tindall had secretly filmed her husband sleeping to persuade him to seek help for a breathing issue that was affecting him during sleep. Mike Tindall, who has broken his nose about eight times throughout his rugby career, has since undergone surgery to rectify the problem, which was causing him to stop breathing while sleeping.
