Kitten Abused by Owner Finds New Life With Dog Best Friend

A kitten named Luna has found a loving new home after suffering severe injuries allegedly at the hands of her owner. In July 2024, Luna was rescued from a property in Brighton following concerns raised by a neighbour about her welfare.

Upon rescue, the kitten received urgent veterinary attention. She was found with a suspected fractured skull and a head tilt caused by trauma. Veterinary evidence suggested her injuries, including a fractured tail, were consistent with physical abuse.

Despite her owner's claims of accidental falls and being 'trodden on,' a veterinarian found injuries that could not be explained by these incidents. Luna's condition has since improved dramatically, and she is now thriving in a new, caring environment alongside her canine companion, Flash.
