The Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) warmly welcomed Rajinikanth upon his arrival, presenting him with prasad and a tulsi garland as blessings from the deity. The committee also announced that the portals of Kedarnath Dham will be ceremoniously closed for the winter season on October 23, 2025, while the Badrinath Dham will close on November 25 at 2:56 pm.
Badrinath Dham is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu, attracting lakhs of devotees every year. Kedarnath Temple, another Char Dham site, is located on the banks of the Mandakini River at an altitude of 3,584 meters above sea level.
