Cunard has announced a landmark 500th transatlantic cruise for its iconic vessel, Queen Mary 2. This special voyage is scheduled to commence on April 20, 2029, departing from New York for a 21-night roundtrip. Passengers will have additional embarkation opportunities in Europe, including an 11-night journey from Hamburg starting April 30, and a nine-night option from Southampton on May 2.
For the first time in 15 years, guests can also board the transatlantic voyage from Liverpool on May 4. Fares for the New York round-trip begin at £2,924 per person. This significant sailing is part of Cunard's new 2028-2029 program, which also features a 115-night world cruise and an 86-night South American exploration aboard Queen Anne.
Cunard World Club members can secure early access to these new routes starting November 3, 2026, with general sales opening the following day. An early reservation discount of 10 percent is offered for bookings made before midnight on December 30, 2026. The Queen Mary 2's 500th crossing is highlighted as a major event, reconnecting Liverpool with the historic transatlantic service.
