Princess Kate has contributed a recipe and a message of support to the charity cookbook, "Choirs For GOOD FOOD!", released in September. This initiative is dedicated to raising funds for Welsh children's hospices, including Hope House Tŷ Gobaith and Tŷ Hafan, for which the Princess is a patron.
Her patronage of Tŷ Hafan began in January 2025, taking over from her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. In her role, Kate visited the hospice in Sully, near Cardiff, to connect with staff, families, and children, emphasizing the importance of support for those facing life-shortening conditions.
Further demonstrating her commitment, Princess Kate penned a letter in June for Children's Hospice Week. She highlighted the invaluable work of children's hospices in supporting families through difficult times and lifting spirits with joy and care. Princess Kate is also preparing to host the "Together At Christmas" carol service.
