14 Nov
Summary
- Princess Anne, known for sustainable fashion, re-wore outfit from 1987
- Outfit featured beige jacket and skirt with bright orange trim
- Anne has worn the same ensemble multiple times since the 1980s

Princess Anne, the elder daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, has long been recognized as a pioneer of sustainable fashion within the royal family. True to form, the Princess Royal has once again demonstrated her commitment to recycling and re-wearing items from her extensive wardrobe, this time during her recent tour of Australia and Singapore.
On November 8, 2025, while in Sydney, Anne was spotted changing out of a navy blazer and into a beige jacket and skirt set that featured bright orange trim. This particular ensemble was first worn by the Princess at Trooping the Colour in 1987 – a remarkable 38 years ago. Anne has continued to pull this outfit from her closet over the years, wearing it to Royal Ascot in the summer of 2025 and even during a visit to South Africa in 2012 to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.
